Considering that the 4K blu-ray box set of the LOTR trilogy is $90 and the Hobbit Trilogy is $95 buying digitally from iTunes would save me $135. My only hangup is that the iTunes collection on sale right now is HD because the 4K version doesn't come out until December. I know that Apple typically upgrades HD copies to 4K once that is available
